Checkup Schedule and Vaccinations

Checkup Schedule

During each well checkup, we carefully assess your child’s growth, physical development, and social milestones. We provide anticipatory guidance to help you navigate between visits and address any questions you have about your child’s health.

Starting at 12 months, annual checkups include a hemoglobin check for anemia and an optional vision screening. From ages 4-5, we add urine analysis and an optional hearing screening to ensure comprehensive health monitoring. We recommend the annual influenza vaccine for children aged 6 months and older, available during any well checkup or scheduled nurse visit from September through June. We also recommend the monoclonal RSV antibody for ages birth through 8 months during RSV season from September to March.

Newborn

Within 1 – 5 days after hospital discharge.  The newborn visit will assess feeding, growth, and any new parent concerns.  If your newborn did not receive the hepatitis B vaccine at the hospital it will be offered at this visit.
